WHAT SETS US APART
Willow Creek Acres is located in Elko, Nevada, where Melanie Graber and her daughter, Jessica Graber, raise Rough Collies and Mini Dachshunds. Our dogs are home raised and are not kenneled. They are part of our everyday lives, receiving lots of individual attention, love, and care.
The health of our dogs and puppies is a top priority. Our parent dogs are health tested, and we believe in providing premium veterinary care throughout our program. We are especially fortunate to have Melanie’s oldest daughter, Dr. Brandi Waheed, serve as our program’s veterinarian. Dr. Waheed personally handles our puppies’ well checks, giving our families added confidence that each puppy has received attentive veterinary care before beginning life with their new family.
At Willow Creek Acres, raising puppies is truly a family endeavor. From the individual attention our dogs receive at home to health testing and hands-on veterinary care, our goal is to give every puppy a strong, healthy start before they become part of your family.

We currently feed and recommend Purina Pro Plan as part of our commitment to quality nutrition and giving our puppies a healthy start.

Puppy Application
Start by completing our Puppy Application. This helps us learn more about you, your family, and what you are looking for in your new puppy.
FaceTime Interview
Once we receive your application, we’ll connect with you personally so we can get to know each other and make sure Willow Creek Acres is the right fit for your family.
Reserve Your Puppy
Once you are approved and we agree that we’re a good match, a $500 non-refundable deposit reserves your place. Puppy-pick order is determined by the order deposits are received.
Puppy Pick & Match
Our puppy-pick process begins when puppies are approximately 2 weeks old, in the order deposits were received. We’ll help guide you through the selection process as you choose the puppy that is the right fit for your family.
